Confidentiality, Property Access & Security | MTN Luxe Home Services

1. Client Confidentiality

Mtn Luxe Home Services respects the privacy of our clients, their families, guests, and properties. All information obtained through the course of providing services will be treated as confidential. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Property addresses and access information

  • Keys, garage codes, alarm codes, and entry instructions

  • Client contact information

  • Travel schedules and anticipated arrivals or departures

  • Information regarding family members, guests, or household routines

  • Information about the home's contents, furnishings, valuables, or security systems

  • Personal information observed or encountered while providing services

  • Information regarding maintenance, vendors, or other service providers associated with the property

Mtn Luxe will not disclose confidential client or property information to third parties except as reasonably necessary to perform requested services, coordinate authorized maintenance or service providers, comply with applicable law, or protect the safety and security of the client, property, or Mtn Luxe personnel. Our team understands that access to a private home is a position of trust and will conduct themselves accordingly.

2. Property Access & Entry

Clients may provide Mtn Luxe with keys, garage access, entry codes, smart-lock access, alarm information, or other means of accessing the property. Mtn Luxe will use access information solely for the purpose of providing authorized services. Access information will not be shared outside of authorized Mtn Luxe personnel except when necessary to coordinate a service specifically requested or authorized by the client.

Clients are responsible for notifying Mtn Luxe of any changes to:

  • Keys or locks

  • Garage codes

  • Smart-lock codes

  • Alarm systems

  • Security procedures

  • Entry instructions

  • Property-specific access requirements

Mtn Luxe will make reasonable efforts to secure keys, codes, and other access information and will not knowingly leave a property unsecured following a service. If a property cannot be safely accessed due to an incorrect code, malfunctioning lock, alarm issue, or other access problem, Mtn Luxe may contact the client or designated emergency contact for instructions.

3. Home Watch & Security

When providing Home Watch services, Mtn Luxe will perform the agreed-upon visual checks and inspections outlined in the client's service plan. Home Watch services are intended to provide routine oversight and early identification of apparent issues. They are not a guarantee against theft, vandalism, weather events, mechanical failures, water damage, fire, or other loss. When an apparent issue is identified, Mtn Luxe will notify the client and, when authorized, coordinate with the appropriate contractor, maintenance provider, emergency service, or other professional. Mtn Luxe is not responsible for diagnosing, repairing, or guaranteeing the performance of systems, appliances, utilities, contractors, or third-party service providers unless expressly agreed to in writing. Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate homeowners insurance and any desired security, alarm, monitoring, or emergency response services.

 

4. Photographs & Documentation

Mtn Luxe may take photographs or videos of portions of a property when reasonably necessary to:

  • Document the condition of a home before or after service

  • Document completed work

  • Record maintenance or property issues

  • Communicate an issue to the client

  • Provide a service or inspection report

  • Document damage or conditions requiring attention

  • Assist with coordination of an authorized vendor or service provider

Photographs taken for these purposes will be treated as confidential client information and will not be publicly shared without the client's permission. Mtn Luxe will make reasonable efforts to avoid photographing personal documents, private correspondence, sensitive information, or individuals whenever such images are not necessary for the service being performed.

 

Marketing Photography

Mtn Luxe will not use photographs of a client's home, property, belongings, or identifiable location for advertising, social media, website content, portfolio materials, or other promotional purposes without the client's express permission. If a client agrees to marketing use, that permission may be documented separately.

 

5. Personal Belongings & Valuables

Mtn Luxe personnel will exercise reasonable care when working around furniture, artwork, décor, electronics, personal belongings, and other household items. Clients should notify Mtn Luxe of any particularly delicate, valuable, antique, or specialty items that require specific handling or cleaning instructions. Unless expressly included in the agreed scope of work, Mtn Luxe will not move, clean, repair, or otherwise handle highly valuable, fragile, collectible, or specialty items when doing so presents an unusual risk of damage.

Clients should secure cash, jewelry, firearms, important documents, prescription medications, and other highly valuable or sensitive items before service.

 

6. Security & Privacy During Service

Mtn Luxe personnel will respect the privacy and security of the property while working in the home. Team members will:

  • Access only areas reasonably necessary to perform the agreed services

  • Avoid unnecessary handling of personal belongings

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding anything observed in the home

  • Follow client-specific security and access instructions when provided

  • Secure doors, gates, garages, and other entry points as instructed

  • Notify the client of unusual conditions or apparent security concerns

  • Never knowingly disclose information regarding a client's absence or travel plans

Clients may provide written property-specific instructions regarding security, restricted areas, pets, alarm systems, cameras, gates, parking, and other important considerations.

 

7. Security Cameras & Recording Devices

Clients may have security cameras, doorbell cameras, audio/video recording devices, or other monitoring equipment at their properties. Clients are responsible for ensuring that such equipment is operated in accordance with applicable law and for informing Mtn Luxe of any relevant recording or monitoring practices. Mtn Luxe personnel will not intentionally disable, obstruct, tamper with, or interfere with a client's security or monitoring equipment except when necessary to perform an authorized service and only with reasonable care. Mtn Luxe personnel will not intentionally access, review, copy, or retain recordings from client security systems.

 

8. Third-Party Vendors & Service Providers

At the client's request, Mtn Luxe may coordinate access to the property for contractors, landscapers, snow removal companies, maintenance providers, delivery personnel, or other authorized vendors. Mtn Luxe may provide such providers with information reasonably necessary to complete the requested service, including access instructions or the client's contact information when appropriate. Mtn Luxe does not assume responsibility for the acts, omissions, workmanship, security practices, or property damage caused by independent third-party vendors. When requested, Mtn Luxe may help coordinate communication or scheduling with such providers as part of the client's Home Watch or Home Preparation services.

 

9. Client Emergency Contact

Clients receiving Home Watch or ongoing home care services are encouraged to provide at least one emergency contact who may be reached if the client cannot be contacted.

Clients should notify Mtn Luxe of changes to their emergency contact information.

In the event of an apparent emergency involving the property, Mtn Luxe may contact the appropriate emergency service, property manager, contractor, insurance representative, or designated emergency contact when reasonably necessary to protect the property or individuals present.

 

10. Client Responsibility for Information & Instructions

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and current information necessary for Mtn Luxe to safely and effectively perform services. This includes notifying Mtn Luxe of:

Security systems and alarm procedures

  • Access changes

  • Sensitive or fragile materials

  • Special cleaning requirements

  • Known property hazards

  • Water shutoffs or other important utility information

  • Pets or animals on the property

  • Construction or renovation activity

  • Changes to authorized vendors

  • Changes in emergency contacts

  • Other conditions that could affect the safe performance of services

11. Client Travel & Occupancy Information

Clients may voluntarily provide Mtn Luxe with anticipated arrival, departure, or occupancy information so that services can be appropriately scheduled and the property prepared. Mtn Luxe will treat this information as confidential and will not disclose a client's travel plans, absence from the property, or anticipated occupancy to unauthorized individuals.

Information regarding client schedules will only be shared with authorized personnel or service providers when reasonably necessary to perform a requested service.
